The Berghaus Terrain zip-off pants are versatile convertible travel pants that will keep you cool and comfortable thanks to the high wicking and quick-drying performance fabric. Features: Nylon Dobby Weave fabric, prevents clinging, quick-drying, wicking properties, DWR finish, UPF50+, active fit, 2 hand pockets (1 w/hidden zippered security pocket), 2 rear pockets (1 w/zip closure), weight 320g. Glossary: Nylon Dobby Weave fabric: Hardwearing, abrasion resistant fabric with a DWR finish and UPF50+ sun protection, Quick-drying, moisture-wicking and anti-cling. Wick/Wicking: The act of transferring moisture from the skin to the outer layer of a garment quickly and efficiently, where it evaporates. Provides a drier more comfortable environment inside a piece of clothing/equipment. DWR (Durable Water Repellent): A finish applied to a fabric that will bead-up water on its surface to stop it soaking into the fibres. This maintains breathability and shortens drying times.
